Yến's Kitchen | Our Story
From Vietnamese streets to Lake Worth Road
Yến’s Kitchen is a family-owned Vietnamese street-food restaurant shaped by a long journey from Vietnam to South Florida. What started as a humble street-food display now lives on in every heartfelt dish we serve.
Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm, 1992
In 1992, Yến set up her first street food display on Nguyễn Bỉnh Khiêm street in Vietnam, selling meals to local factory workers. Her husband Hung worked at the nearby factory, and she soon upgraded to her own food cart.
Feeding the neighborhood
Even when neighbors couldn't afford a meal, Yến would still welcome them with a warm bowl of food. That spirit of generosity and community remains the heart of our kitchen today.
A new home in Florida
After immigrating to America in 2003, Yến spent seventeen years working toward her dream before finally opening Yến’s Kitchen in 2020. Our small space in Greenacres brings those same authentic street flavors to Lake Worth Road.
The family behind the counter
Today, Yến runs the kitchen alongside Hung and their two children. We are deeply grateful to the South Florida community whose belief in our food made this dream a reality.
